Firm recruiting for hundreds of customer service jobs in Illinois

Posted on June 12, 2011

NCO Group just announced it is looking to hire people for customer service jobs in Illinois.

The company, a provider of business process outsourcing services, said that it will hire roughly 400 individuals in its Rockford, Illinois, Customer Management Contact Center. The hiring of these individuals allows NCO to positively contribute to the Rockford community by creating new jobs. The hiring will coincide with the program expansion for one of NCO’s leading clients in the wireless telecommunications industry.

Employment opportunities will largely include positions as Customer Care Associates, but will also include opportunities for team management, trainers, and other program specialist roles. Positions are full-time and offer a complete employment benefit package. Using a dynamic range of communication channels such as phone, email, and web-chat, associates will learn and apply skills in areas of customer care, sales, or technical support.

Illinois unemployment has continued to decrease as the recession levels out.

Commenting on the expansion, James McGrath, SVP, NCO Customer Management, stated, “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to grow our services for one of our premier clients. The combination of this client expansion, our talented team in Rockford, and our long-standing relationship with the Rockford community is very positive. This offers potential employees excellent career options today and in the future.”

NCO’s Rockford management team is working closely with the City of Rockford, television media, and print media to drive awareness for potential employees. Applications are being accepted immediately. Interested candidates should apply on-line at http://www.ncogroup.com/careers or call 815-654-6788 for more information. The site is located at: 7180 Spring Brook Road, Rockford, IL 61114.
