Education Jobs in Illinois Open Up

The Troy school district in Illinois have announced that they are hiring for education jobs in Illinois.
They have already acquired new leadership for the 2010-11 school year. Kristin Copes has been hired as the new principal for Troy Hofer Elementary School.
According to SuburbanChicagoNews.com, Copes just completed her 16th year in education. Her employment with Troy started during the 2009-10 school year when she accepted the split assistant principal position at Troy Hofer and Troy Shorewood elementary schools. She replaces Robert Bauhmann.
Copes has a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University.
Brooke Allen will be the assistant principal at Troy Hofer.
In pay news, the Troy school board voted to keep the pay for substitute teachers and teaching assistants the same as last year, $95 per day for teachers and $65 for teaching assistants.
